The PLAYground Festival of Fresh Works celebrates new theatre for young audiences from the best playwrights across the country at Northwestern University! This year's plays include "Hannah and the Hollow Challah" by Alice Eve Cohen, "The Golden Loc" by Prentis Matthews III, and "Fly Away Home" by Laura King.

Come to Evanston Public Library to get a sneak peek of this year’s amazing PLAYground plays before the festival. After the brief performances, join us for creative activities to keep the fun going – make a craft! Meet the artists! Even learn how to braid challah bread! Grades K-5 and families welcome. Registration is encouraged.”
